I have several couples who are married that met their spouse through online dating. Each one used a different method of the internet to help them find that special someone. One couple used a Christian online dating service that charged a fee to match them up with someone who was compatible with their traits. Another couple used a regular online service that charged a fee to match the couple. There are other sites that are free. Most of the online dating services allow you to post a picture and to fill out a profile about yourself. This way you can tell everything about yourself and list what you are looking for in a dating partner. This will also cut down on the time involved in the process so that you do not have to go through so many prospects that do not fill your requirements.
Every experience with online dating is not always a positive one. Just remember that safety is the most important thing to consider. Everyone who joins Internet dating services are not what they say they are. People may not be honest about with everything about themselves, so you have to be careful. You should be sure when you go on your first online date that it is a very public place and that you are somewhere you feel comfortable.
